Dr. DePalma welcomes international visiting professor from Korea

Dr. DePalma and Virginia iSpine Physicians, PC hosted visiting professor Sang-Ho Ahn, MD, PhD from the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine and Spine Center, Yeungnam University College of Medicine in Seoul Korea. While on sabbatical, Dr. Ahn visited a handful of spine centers in the United States. Virginia iSpine Physicians, PC was one of them where Dr. Ahn observed our approach to interventional spine care and discussed new innovations in diagnosing and treating painful spine disorders. Dr. DePalma appreciated hosting our international guest, “I enjoy opportunities like these in which I can exchange ideas and information with an accomplished international colleague.” Dr. DePalma has been invited by Dr. Ahn to serve as faculty at the Korean International Spine Intervention Society’s annual meeting in Seoul Korea this coming June. “It is humbling to have an international expert visit our practice and I’m extremely excited about visiting Dr. Ahn’s spine center in June,” said DePalma.
